TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has got the shock of his life after coming to know about the plans of Congress leadership to field its Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Medak parliament constituency in the upcoming polls.
Actually, KCR is currently representing Mahabubnagar constituency and he wishes to move to Medak in the 2014 elections. On the same issue, Sitting Medak MP Vijayashanti had differences with TRS president and jumped to Congress party after Centre declared Telangana state.
The reports of Rahul Gandhi's entry came as a shocking blow to KCR as Congress has already become hot favorite in the region post the announcement on July 30th. Even his grand mother Indira Gandhi contested and won as MP from the same constituency in the past, so Rahul will have an added advantage and Telangana people would also support him as they take pride if a prime minister candidate contests from their region. Mostly, KCR will be on the losing end and the existence of TRS will be questioned for sure.
In such a scenario, Congress has plans to tame Vijayashanti with Rajya Sabha seat or any other important post. That's how High Command is going to take everything under its control!
