If we read between the lines, director Apoorva Lakhia is indirectly declaring that the release date of 'Zanjeer' is not changed. Irrespective of the altercations in 'Yevadu' release, it looks like Charan's bollywood flick is not ready for any release disturbance.
Sharing his thoughts on a micro blogging site, Apoorva Lakhia stated that both of Charan's movies (Yevadu and Zanjeer) are hitting screens in two weeks gap and asked Cherry's fans to enjoy the moment. Yevadu will be hitting screens on August 21st, while Zanjeer and its Telugu version Thoofan will be releasing on September 6th worldwide. It is already known that producer Dil Raju shifted Yevadu release to 21st citing that there should be no friction between fans for Attarintiki Daredi, an August 7th release and Yevadu.
Sources from Mumbai are saying that altering a release date in Bollywood circuits is quite tough and Mumbai film chamber should be given at least three months notice to change release dates. With many other biggies like Shudd Desi Romance, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Besharam, Ragini MMS 2 and Boss lined up in October, and all theatres pre-booked, going on September 6th will be the best date for Charan's Zanjeer. Let us wait for any official confirmation over change of Zanjeer release date, if any.
