TDP supreme Chandrababu Naidu tried to infuse confidence in the party cadre during the regional meeting as part of the preparations for the gram panchayat elections.
Naidu claimed that TDP has a strong cadre-base to face the general elections whenever they might happen and went onto say party is ready to fight against other major political parties Congress, YSR Congress and TRS even if the polls arrive in November this year.
He then, praised the party activists sky high for their honesty and integrity by stating they have lost their properties for TDP, unlike the cadres of other parties. Babu promised that he would empower all of them as soon as the party comes to power and reiterated that everyone who worked for the growth of TDP will get due respect in some way or the other.
The TDP chief stated that his party isn't against Telangana and so it submitted a letter to Union Home Minister, apart from declaring its stand in the recent Mahanadu. He claimed that TDP played a key role in the development of Telangana region, Hyderabad's revenue increased multiple times during his regime and the party also fought for Babli water when no other parties bothered about it. The moral boosting exercise of Naidu might help the cadre to face the poll challenges more effectively.
