Following strong allegations that The TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu was protecting the Congress government in the state, YSR Congress Party on Thursday demanded Naidu to prove that he had any nexus with the Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
In an open letter, the YSR party demanded explanation from Naidu on his connivance with Congress government in the State and posed questions to the TDP leader. The questions includes, Naidu moved no-confidence motion when YSR was the Chief Minister. Why is he (Naidu) backing Kiran Government. Naidu had opposed Kiran Kumar Reddy as Speaker during YSR regime.
How is Kiran eligible now as Chief Minister. Why is Naidu not insisting for by-elections in the constituencies where the MLAs have been disqualified. Similarly, why is he not demanding for holding local body elections as per schedule.
In a democratic set-up, holding elections for municipalities, Mandal Praja Parishad, Zilla parishes and Panchayats are a normal course. Why is Babu showing fear and hesitation to mount pressure on the government to go for local body elections
The other questions posed by the YSR party in the letter are - Naidu repeatedly alleged that the chief Minister and his brother were doing corrupt practices. Then, can he please explain why he is shielding the government. Why is he hesitating to complain to the Governor and the investigating agencies on the Kiran's corruption. When the Chief minister is making allegations against him, why is Naidu silent and not even raising his voice to condemn his remarks. Naidu made hue and cry when Jagan launched his TV and newspaper. Why is Naidu maintaining silence when the Chief Minister and the PCC chief owned TV channels.
The YSR Congress asked for answers on the above questionnaire to prove his political uprightness and let people know why he had hidden agenda with Kiran Kumar Reddy and also Congress party.
