Priyanka Chopra is on a roll. After making her item-song debut with Babli Badmaash for “Shootout At Wadala,” the desi girl is all set to shoot another song for the remake of Amitabh Bachchan's film,“Zanjeer". The number will be called, “Pinky.”
The song will be rendered by the husky Mamta Sharma of "Munni" fame and choreographed by the popular Ganesh Acharya."I have done a song for Priyanka in Zanjeer that is being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. You will get to hear it in say two months' time when the trailer of Zanjeer will be out," singer Mamta Sharma told PTI.PC’s first foray into item song had raised several eyebrows. The actress had reportedly charged a whopping Rs. 2.8 crore for the song. However, the publicity paid off and Babli Badmaash continues to rule the musical charts.
The remake of “Zanjeer” is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and marks the debut of Ram Charan Teja, Telugu actor and son of filmstar-turned-politician Chiranjeevi. It also stars Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Mahie Gill.
