NTR’s Statue in Parliament

The founder of Telugu Desam Party and former Chief Minister of AP Late Sri NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao)'s statue was inaugurated in the Parliament campus on Monday.

Meira Kumar unveiled NTR's statue in the presence of Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, l Sushma Swaraj, several union ministers and leaders of various political parties have been attended.
 
NTR's actor sons Nandamuri Balakrishna, Harikrishna, grandson and popular actor Jr NTR, Kalyan Ram and other family members were also present. NTR's daughter and Union Minister D. Purandeswari, was seen exchanging pleasantries with the family members

Union Tourism Minister  Chiranjeevi, actresses-turned MPs Jaya Prada and Rekha and renowned Telugu actor Mohan Babu also graced the event.

The 9.3-feet bronze statue oNTR's was prepared at the Vemuru of (Guntur dt) with an estimated it may  cost around 13 lakh rupees.
